The fashion world likes to keep up with the times, and the obsession with newspaper prints continues unabated: From Emilia Wickstead's Fall 2025 show, where models walked the runway with the Wickstead Times , to Matthieu Blazy's Spring 2024 collection for Bottega Veneta —Stella McCartney's own Stella Times was also part of this fashion statement. Emily Ratajkowski, Kendall Jenner, and Sarah Jessica Parker have also recently taken inspiration from Bradshaw's iconic wardrobe full of signature pieces and style breaks—putting their own twist on the classic.

Carrie's legendary newspaper dress was first seen in season 3, episode 17 of "Sex and the City," when she ambushes Natasha to confess her affair with Mr. Big and apologize. It's one of the most memorable scenes in the series—not only for the emotional drama, but also for the iconic look. The apology failed, but the dress made fashion history, rising like a phoenix from the ashes.
Jenna Ortega recently experienced a true fashion moment with historic potential. Fresh off the Met Gala 2025 , she wowed in a custom-made Balmain ruler-print gown—one of the smartest and most thoughtful interpretations of this year's theme. Designed by Olivier Rousteing, the look embraced the "Tailored For You" theme and drew inspiration from art, couture, and craftsmanship, referencing the tailor's humble instrument: the measuring ruler. The silver gown acted like a shimmering shell, incorporating hundreds of rulers to create a plunging bustier and a fitted dress.
Later that evening, Ortega slipped into a faux fur coat and a pink Barbiecore-style minidress—just like Carrie.
