Weather: Sun, rain and wind - moody weather in Lower Saxony

The weather in Lower Saxony and Bremen will remain changeable in the coming days. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), Thursday will be predominantly cloudy, with occasional rain or drizzle. Temperatures will reach 20 to 23 degrees Celsius with strong, sometimes gusty winds.

On Friday, the sun will shine in the mountains, while north of the Mittelland Canal it will initially be cloudy with drizzle. Later, the sky will clear up. Temperatures will reach 22 degrees Celsius on the coast and 28 degrees Celsius in southern Lower Saxony. At night, it will remain mostly clear and dry, with early morning fog developing in some places.

Saturday will be partly cloudy in the northwest, with showers or thunderstorms developing later. Temperatures will range from 22 degrees Celsius on the islands to 26 degrees Celsius in Bremen to 28 degrees Celsius in Braunschweig. Clouds and rain will develop overnight, with thunderstorms in some places. Sunday will remain changeable with occasional rain. Temperatures will reach 18 degrees Celsius along the coast, and up to 24 degrees Celsius in the Göttingen area.
