Negotiations have been very intense in the last few hours between Napoli and Torino for Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, who will rebuff Leeds United as long as he has a chance of joining the Partenopei.
We had already reported for Football Italia on Saturday on the sudden revival of the talks for the goalkeeper, who has quickly become a firm target for the Serie A title holders.
The Serbia international has a release clause set at €19m in Italy, and a little higher for clubs abroad.
Milinkovic-Savic has his eyes on Napoli
Leeds United are eager to get him, but as long as there is a possibility he could go to Napoli, then Milinkovic-Savic is not going to open the door to this English alternative.
There could also be the involvement of Cyril Ngonge, as Torino are searching for a wide attacker in the same mould and he would fit the bill.
It remains to be seen if he is directly or indirectly drawn into the Milinkovic-Savic situation, but the talks continue between the clubs.
