Noel McGrath Had To Drop The F-Bomb On RTÉ To Sum Up His Passion For Tipperary

Tipperary have booked their spot in a first All-Ireland hurling final since 2019, overcoming Kilkenny on a scoreline of 4-21 to 0-30 at Croke Park this afternoon.
The story of the first half was the Tipperary goals, with the Munster side raising three green flags inside the opening 25 minutes. A couple of them were rather soft ones to concede, with Jason Forde scoring the third of the afternoon.

That Forde strike seemed to spark Tipperary into life, having the better of the play over the remainder of the opening period. They would carry a four-point lead into the interval.
However, Kilkenny certainly had no intention of making it an easy afternoon for their opponents. The Cats would get back on level terms with around 20 minutes remaining in the in match, setting things up for a grandstand finish.
Tipperary would be reduced to 14 men for the final ten minutes after Darragh McCarthy picked up his second yellow card of the game, handing the advantage to their opponents.
A harmless enough swipe from Darragh McCarthy, but rules are rules. Tipp down to 14 men for the last ten minutes at Croker 😬pic.twitter.com/QGIdEbVQSi

However, Tipp were not to be denied.
Despite being down a man, this remarkable strike from Oisín O'Donoghue would be enough to book their spot in the All-Ireland final.

Noel McGrath Drops F-Bomb To Sum Up His Passion For TipperaryThis was a game where some of Tipperary's young stars came to the fore, with O'Donoghue's winning goal the prime example.
In saying that, some of the more experienced men in the Tipp dressing room also stood up to be counted. Jason Forde was named man-of-the-match after scoring 1-6 in the game, with Noel McGrath also making a telling a contribution after coming off the bench.
Speaking on RTÉ after the game, McGrath couldn't help but experience a slip of the tongue as he summed up the passion he felt after Tipperary got back to another All-Ireland final (skip to around 4:15 in the clip below to see the moment in question):
The feeling never gets old, it's as good as ever. It's hard to put into words at the moment because it's just after happening.
The initial feeling, it will never get old for anyone when you're not playing, never mind when you are playing. It's such a great feeling...
Some of the performances there were like lads that had been up here loads and loads of times. Some have never even been in Croke Park, never mind played up here...
We still have no trophy on the table, you know what I mean? We're in an All-Ireland final. You have to just fucking... sorry.
You have to go in and talk about it, enjoy that now inside, and get ready for a few weeks time...
That's some experience there today. Even coming in today and the crowds on the streets, that's something new for a lot of lads. That experience will help and it will be even bigger in a few weeks time, there will be a sea of blue and gold and a sea of red everywhere.
That's why you play. We're sitting at home for the last five or six years watching them days. To be involved in it now is exactly where we want to be.
Some man.
Tipperary will go into the All-Ireland final as underdogs, with Cork the form team in the country in 2025. In saying that, they won't fear their Munster rivals.
It should make for a cracking contest.
