NFL WAG publicly shames her husband for not having a good enough career to score an invite to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding

Ex-NFL star Tom Compton's wife threw some public shade at him for failing to get them an invite to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's wedding on Friday.

In a TikTok video that has gone viral, Tiffany Compton - who has been married to the former offensive tackle since 2017 - filmed her husband carrying out some home improvements while the star-studded ceremony was happening in New York City.

The interior designer captioned the clip as she zoomed in on him: 'when your husband played for every team in the NFL except the chiefs so we're hanging roman shades instead [of] going to a wedding'.

Her hilarious video, which is accompanied by sad violin music in the background, has racked up over one million views at the time of writing.

Compton played for the Washington Redskins (now Commanders), Atlanta Falcons, Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, New York Jets, San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos in his 10-year NFL career, yet unfortunately for his wife he never linked up with Kelce in Kansas City.

Swift and Kelce's wedding, which closed off the streets around the iconic arena, featured a who's who of the A-list world, such as Bradley Cooper, Steven Spielberg and Jay-Z, with 1,000 guests from Hollywood, the music industry, fashion and sports colliding.

Several NFL stars were in attendance, including Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and his wife Kelly, as well as Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany. Seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady was also there.

Adam Sandler was the surprise officiant at the ceremony, with Chiefs head coach Andy Reid opening up on the marriage advice the Hollywood icon gave Kelce and Swift.

'Adam Sandler conducted the service there and he told them to "keep kissing," in its simplest form. That’s a good thing,' Reid told reporters on Sunday.

'It’s hard to argue when you give your wife a kiss or your wife gives you a kiss… And make sure you do it every day, every minute that you have an opportunity to. Knock it out, and you won’t have any problems.'

Kelce landed a cameo role in Sandler's Happy Gilmore sequel last year, while he also invited the comedian onto his and brother Jason's New Heights podcast in 2024.

During that podcast appearance, Sandler left the Kelce brothers in stitches when he explained how much Swift means to his family.

He said: 'You guys being together, I mean... when you guys first started dating, my god was my family like, "Yes! Look how good they are together, he's a gentleman! And she's having so much fun with him!"

'Like any time Taylor is laughing with you, my whole f***ing family is like high-fiving.'

Reid was one of several Chiefs figures at the wedding on Friday, with all but one of the entire roster invited.

Controversial kicker Harrison Butker was the only Kansas City player left off the guest list by Kelce and Swift, two years on from his divisive commencement speech at Benedictine College.

An NFL source told the Daily Mail that Butker, who has played alongside Kelce since 2017, was not at the wedding on Friday.

The three-time Super Bowl champion sparked uproar when he suggested women should prioritize being stay-at-home mothers over their careers during a commencement speech at Kansas City's Benedictine College in 2024.

He also appeared to condemn then-President Joe Biden's pro-abortion stance and the LGBTQ+ community, igniting outrage at the time. A petition for Butker to be cut by the Chiefs was signed by more than 260,000 people.
