Marc Ó Sé Shares 'Rumour' That Former Kerry Star Has Made Shock Return To Panel

Kerry will enter this weekend's game against Armagh in a rather unfamiliar scenario, with the Ulster side being judged as favourites for Sunday's clash at Croke Park.
Kieran McGeeney's side have arguably been the most in-form side in the country in recent months, with many tipping them to retain their All-Ireland title this summer.
In contrast, Kerry come into this game under far more uncertainty. They have had a rather straightforward championship fixture list in comparison to many of their rivals, with their heavy defeat at the hands of Meath also raising plenty of doubts about their Sam Maguire ambitions.
However, if rumours are to be believed, there could an interesting addition to their panel ahead of this weekend.

Former Kerry star could make shock return to inter-county panelOne of the biggest areas of concern in the Kerry team is their midfield, with the Munster champions having lost some high calibre players in that position in recent times.
However, there are whispers that one of those footballers could be about to make a shock return to the panel.
Writing in the Irish News, Marc Ó Sé said that there are rumours that Jack Barry has linked up with the Kerry squad having just recently returned to Ireland.
Kerry are really struggling in the middle of the field department minus the services of Barry Dan O’Sullivan, and Diarmuid O’Connor.
They’re really struggling, and the word down in Kerry is that Jack Barry is back in the panel. He’s home from Australia.
I’m not so sure if that’s true, but that’s the rumour down here. We’ve seen John Small for Dublin in from the wilderness, but it can take six, seven weeks to get up to speed.
Not be be unfair on Mark O’Shea or Seán O’Brien, but if you said earlier this year that would be a starting pairing at midfield in knockout Championship people would have said you’re living in cuckoo land.
Jack Barry last played for Kerry in 2023, spending time in Australia over the past 18 months or so.
He was a hugely consistent player for The Kingdom throughout his inter-county career, meaning his unexpected return could be a massive boost. Of course, it remains to be seen just how much of an impact he could make for over the remainder of the 2025 campaign.
The Kerry team announcement over the coming days will certainly be an interesting one.
