Katie Boulter catches Alex de Minaur off-guard during fiance's Sky Sports interview

Katie Boulter gatecrashed Alex de Minaur’s interview with Sky Sports as the engaged couple both prepare to compete at the Madrid Open. De Minaur was speaking with Sky ahead of his opener in the Spanish capital when Boulter snuck behind the camera. The British number one was laughing and joking as she secretly crept up behind the camera as De Minaur was discussing his recent Barcelona Open campaign - which ended in a loss to Carlos Alcaraz after defeating Brit Jacob Fearnley.
Boulter then peeked her head around the camera operator and caught her fiance off-guard, before shouting at both the Aussie tennis star and interviewer: “You are too good!”
The trio laughed before ending the Sky segment and Boulter swapped places with De Minaur.

Boulter begins her tour-debut on clay against Czech star Katerina Siniakova. A tricky draw ensures that should she overcome her opponent, a second-round tie with Wimbledon and French Open runner-up Jasmine Paolini awaits.
Boulter is also on the same side of the draw as Sonay Kartal, who impressed on clay for Great Britain at the Billie Jean King Cup qualifiers.
She has secured a spot at Roland Garros for just the second time in her career, having been knocked out in the first round 12 months ago. Traditionally clay has not been her favoured surface, but Boulter will hope that a successful week alongside De Minaur in Madrid provides a positive warm-up for the second Major of the year.
Sixth-seed De Minaur will face either Lorenzo Sonego or Miomir Kecmanovic in the second round and could face Alcaraz once more in the semi-finals.
He succumbed 7-5 6-3 to the Spanish star, having taken an early 3-1 lead, but Alcaraz won 19 consecutive sets in Barcelona to put away De Minaur once again. He has a perfect record against the Aussie, winning all four of their meetings.
De Minaur has improved on clay considerably over the past two years, but is unlikely to relish another encounter with Alcaraz in another of his home events.
Having reached the quarter-finals last time out, De Minaur did keep his spot as the world No. 7 by gaining 200 points.
De Minaur and Boulter announced their engagement in December on Instagram, posting a picture of a ring with the caption: "We've been keeping a small secret."
Playing together, they reached the second round of mixed doubles at Wimbledon last year, but Boulter was “not happy” with her fiance last month when they played together in the Eisenhower Cup at Indian Wells.
She threatened to end their tennis partnership after losing in the first round, but all appears well behind the scenes as the engaged pair enjoyed a sweet moment with the Sky cameras.
