GAA: Here's The Draw For Round Two Of The All-Ireland Championship

The draw for Round 2A and 2B of the All-Ireland series in gaelic football was made this morning.
All eyes were on the fixtures in the 2B draw. The losers of these matches will be eliminated from the Championship so the stakes couldn't be higher. With the likes of Kerry, Dublin, Roscommon and Meath on the losers side of the draw, we are promised at least one huge game.
The four winners of the games in the 2A draw will progress directly to the All-Ireland quarterfinals, while the four losers will play the four winners from Round 2B. Sound straightforward enough?
The draw will take place on Morning Ireland after the 8.30am sports bulletin.
Here is the draw for the 2B pool.- Cavan v Dublin
- Monaghan v Roscommon
- Kildare v Kerry
- Derry v Meath
- Galway v Westmeath
- Donegal v Cork
- Tyrone v Mayo
- Louth v Armagh
The first team drawn will have home advantage in this round. No provincial final rematches are allowed, but luckily none are possible. Each draw contains four provincial finalists and four counties who did not reach a provincial final.
When are the games in Round 2A and 2B?The games in round 2A and 2B will take place on the weekend of June 13 and 14, which sets up as the best weekend of gaelic football this year.
Fixture information will be announced after the draw, likely before the end of the day. Dublin fans will be particularly interested to see what day they play as Ger Brennan's 12 week suspension ends on Sunday the 12 of June. If Dublin are drawn to play on the Saturday, then they will not be able to avail of Brennan's services.
Fans will also be interested in which games are broadcast by GAA+, and which are on RTÉ.
