Draw made for Clare SHC semi-finals

The four teams remaining in the race for the Canon Hamilton Cup learned their fate when the semi-final draw took place tonight.

Clooney/Quin are aiming to bridge a gap back to their sole previous success of 1942.
The semi-finals will be staged in a fortnight, over the weekend of September 20th / 21st.

Marco Cleary and Darren O'Brien scored the winners' other two majors, while Shane O'Donnell was prominent throughout. David Reidy slotted three points and the championship's top scorer Danny Russell clipped over eight.
Earlier in the day, holders Feakle were eliminated when losing to Clooney-Quin by 1-20 to 1-11 in the curtain raiser, Fergal Lynch’s charges advancing to the last four for the first time since 2017.
Peter Duggan top-scored for the winners in that one with eight points, while Dannan Fox was on target thrice and Darragh McNamara struck the goal a minute from the break, collecting a long ball, turning and placing precisely in the net to establish an eight-point gap, 1-12 to 0-7.
