10 Players That Could Win Their First Hurling All-Stars In 2025

With just one game to go in this year's All-Ireland hurling championship, we now have a good idea of what players will be in contention for All-Star honours at the end of the season.
Limerick have dominated those sides in recent seasons, while Clare also had six players included in 2024. With both of those counties underperforming this season, you can expect to see quite a few news names included in the 2025 edition
Cork and Tipperary are set to have quite a few hurlers included, while All-Ireland semi-finalists Kilkenny and Dublin will also stake a claim for places.
With that in mind, here are ten players who could win their first hurling All-Stars in 2025.

10 Players That Could Win Their First Hurling All-Stars In 2025 Brian Hayes (Cork)Someone that is all but certain to land his first All-Star in 2025, Brian Hayes is also the current frontrunner for Hurler of the Year.
The Cork forward has been immense in this year's championship, acting as the focal point of their attack. He has scored 5-8 along the way, but even that does not sum up his influence on the side.
Alan Connolly (Cork)Another Cork star who looks destined to be included in the side, Alan Connolly's hat-trick in the semi-final victory over Dublin is one of the highlights of this year's championship.
The Blackrock man is coming to the boil at the right time having steadily improved over the course of the year. You get the sense that he could play a decisive role in this weekend's All-Ireland final.
Jason Forde (Tipperary)Now 31-years old, you get the sense that Jason Forde is overdue an appearance in the All-Star team.
The Tipp man has put together one of the finest seasons of his career to date, being named man-of-the-match after notching 1-6 in the semi-final win over Kilkenny.
He has 3-44 to his name in this year's championship heading into Sunday's final.
Jake Morris (Tipperary)As someone who has stepped up to become a leader in the Tipp side this year, it would not be a surprise to see Jake Morris' season be rewarded with some individual honours.
The 26-year old has notched 0-22 in the championship, while also being willing to do his bit at the other end of the pitch. He looks in line to add a first All-Star to his trophy cabinet over the coming months.
Cian O'Sullivan (Dublin)If Dublin are to be rewarded for their All-Ireland semi-final run, Cian O'Sullivan looks like the most likely All-Star inclusion.
The St Brigid's man scored 5-22 in this year's championship, including a personal of tally of 2-5 despite the heavy semi-final defeat against Cork.
Should he be included, he would be the first Dub to make the side since 2013.
Robert Doyle (Tipperary)Despite being a player who is sometimes overlooked in the discussion of key Tipperary men, Robert Doyle has put together a wonderful season in 2025.
He has been one of the finest defenders in the country this season and will need to produce a big performance if his county are to get over the line in this weekend's All-Ireland final.
Making the All-Star team in his first season as an inter-county regular would be some achievement.
Sean O'Donoghue (Cork)Another top class defender, Seán O'Donoghue has been among the most consistent players in the country this season.
It would be a shock if he is not included in the All-Star team at the end of the year.
Martin Keoghan (Kilkenny)Six goals in the championship is nothing to be sniffed at, with Martin Keoghan logging 6-14 prior to Kilkenny's semi-final exit.
The 26-year old already has six Leinster titles to his name at this point of his inter-county career, with his importance in the Kilkenny side steadily increasing over that period.
He will be in with a shout to make this team.
Patrick Collins (Cork)The goalkeeping position in the All-Star team has been dominated by Nickie Quaid and Eoin Murphy in 2020s, although it seems unlikely that either of those players will make the cut on this occasion.
Collins is in a very strong position to do so, especially if Cork can get their hands on the Liam MacCarthy this weekend. The same can be said of his Tipp counterpart Rhys Shelly.
Eoghan Connolly (Tippeary)Another strong option in the defence line, Eoghan Connolly has made an impact at both ends of the pitch.
His championship scoring tally of 0-13 is certainly nothing to be sniffed at, especially when coupled with his abilities at the back. The Cahsel man has certainly taken his game to a new level in 2025.
