The world is changing, the economy and technologies are changing, therefore the CIS itself is changing. On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the portal for our Readers we have prepared a completely new look, a refreshed structure of services and... a new logo. Premiere soon, during the XVII European Economic Congress.
- On the first day of the 17th European Economic Congress two unique events will be held - the CIS Gala and the Investor Without Borders Gala.

The WNP portal is turning 25 this year. The first interview, by Jerzy Dudała, was published in 2000. It was a conversation with Torbjörn Wahlborg, CEO of Vattenfall Poland, about the privatization of the Polish power sector and the slow liberalization of the market. Today, the liberalization of the energy market is still a current topic in the WNP, but the portal itself is a completely different medium.
WNP is one of the most read economic websites in Poland- 25 years on the internet is a long time, because the history of online journalism in Poland is not much longer. Over the past quarter of a century, the WNP portal has transformed from a sector service, strongly focused on traditional branches of industry, into one of the most read nationwide economic services , describing the entire spectrum of the Polish economy. Since 2000, we have been providing the latest and most important information for business every day, and we will continue this mission, only now in a completely new version - announces Aleksandra Helbin, editor-in-chief of WNP.
Today, WNP is ranked among the TOP 5 most opinion-forming economic and business media (according to the Institute of Media Monitoring - editor's note), still maintaining the No. 1 position in the aforementioned industries. We reach over 5 million users per month (according to the Mediapanel Gemius research data from March 2025), and our daily newsletter is received by 70,000 people.
We focus on evolution, not revolutionTaking care of this wide group of our Readers, we decided to refresh the portal on the occasion of the CIS anniversary. We presented a new newsletter in March. Now it is time for a new website and a new logo. However, it will be an evolution, not a revolution, because we are leaving what is best in the CIS, i.e. quality and reliable journalism.
- In the new version, we continue to pursue one goal that has guided us for 25 years: to be the first-choice media in the Polish economy. That is why the DNA of WNP, i.e. professional journalism, news and reliability, does not change - sums up the editor-in-chief of WNP.
We will present the new version of the portal during the European Economic Congress. On April 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the special WNP Gala we will show what we have prepared for our Readers - the new version of the service.
The Investor Without Borders Gala will take place that same evening. It is an annual event of the CIS economic portal, which inseparably accompanies the European Economic Congress.
The competition winners, as every year, will be a narrow, elite group of companies: foreign investors in Poland and Polish companies investing in foreign markets.
