Sky issues 48-hour countdown to claim ultimate upgrade at a 'lowest ever' price

If you fancy the ultimate TV and broadband upgrade at a surprisingly low price, then you might want to head to Sky's online store. The telly firm has announced the final days of a big discount which is offering access to ultra fast broadband and a fully loaded telly package for just £49 per month - that's the lowest ever price for this bundle. For that monthly fee, you'll get speedy 900Mbps internet along with a Sky Stream box, which includes Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max and Hayu at no extra cost.
This plan also comes with Sky's Ultimate TV, which includes premium channels such as Sky One, Sky Witness, Sky Doc, Sky Crime, National Geographic and U&Gold.
Sky says that this deal will only be available until Wednesday, June 17, so there's only 48 hours to cash in.
There are some things to note about this offer. Firstly, it features that Sky Stream box which uses the internet to beam content to TVs rather than a dish. This makes it much easier to set-up as there's no need for an engineer to visit.
There is a 24-month contract to sign, and Sky says prices may change during the term of the deal.
One final thing to note is that Sky doesn't offer 900Mbps downloads to all UK homes, so it's worth checking to see what speeds you can actually expect.

As a quick price guide. Virgin Media currently has a deal that includes 362Mbps broadband, over 200 TV channels, Netflix and Sky Sports for £54.99 per month.
Once again, there is a two-year contract to sign, and prices will rise over the 24-month period.
