New iPhone 17 images may reveal huge change coming from Apple next week

There's less than a week to go until we finally see what's coming next from Apple. The US technology giant has confirmed that it's holding a major launch event on September 9. As usual, Apple isn't giving much away with invites sent out to media simply saying 'Awe dropping'.
Full details will be revealed next Tuesday, but ahead of the massive showcase, one well-known tech leaker has posted images giving fans a glimpse of what's to come.
It's long been rumoured that the iPhone 17 Pro will get a big redesign this year and be joined by a new device called the iPhone 17 Air. The new photos appear to confirm exactly that.
Four cases have been posted on X by Evan Blass and claim to show an iPhone 17 Pro with a huge camera bump that now stretches right across the rear of the phone. There's also a bigger iPhone iPhone 17 Pro Max, which also gets that much larger snapper as well.
Then there's that new Air, which is expected to offer a slimline design that's far easier to pop in pockets.
If the latest image is correct, the Air appears to only feature a single camera - a little like the iPhone 16e.
All of the new cases seem to have MagSafe compatibility, which may confirm that this easy way of charging will continue to be included. Of course, we have no idea if these images will turn out to be a reality, but they do match what many experts have been predicting.
Along with this case leak, some pricing information has also been spread across the web. According to 9to5mac, the iPhone 17 won't get a price increase, but the iPhone 17 Air and iPhone 17 Pro may be slightly more expensive when they land in stores later this month.
Express.co.uk will bring you full details from Apple's event next week, so watch this space.
