Why Fans Think Brooklyn Beckham Is Feuding With Brother Romeo Beckham
There may be a bend in the Beckham family.
While David Beckham and Victoria Beckham’s four kids—Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13—have enjoyed a tight bond over the years, speculation of a rift between the two older siblings has grown after Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham were absence from recent family outings.
In an April 2 Instagram Stories post, Romeo made no mention of his brother and sister-in-law when he shared a photo of himself and his family—as well as girlfriend Kim Turnbull and Cruz’s partner Jackie Apostel—taken at a March 30 celebration for his dad’s upcoming 50th birthday.
“Family is everything,” he wrote on the post, tagging each person’s Instagram handle. “Love you all.”
Neither Brooklyn or Nicola appeared in other photos from the party, prompting one fan to question the couple’s whereabouts.
“Where is Brooklyn?” the Instagram user wrote on David’s page. “Strange…”
Indeed, Brooklyn and Nicola—who wed in 2022 and reside in Los Angeles—skipped several overseas gatherings in recent months. While they did celebrate Christmas with the family, the two were not in attendance at David’s Boss underwear campaign launch party in January. The star-studded event, held in London, was also attended by Kim and Jackie, as seen in photos published by the Daily Mail.
In March, Brooklyn and Nicola were no-shows once again as the family—along with Kim and Jackie—stepped out to support Victoria at her Paris Fashion Week runway show.
E! News has reached out to reps for the Beckhams for comment but has not heard back.
In the past, Brooklyn has been open about his adoration for his family. In fact, he debuted a series of tattoos honoring his younger siblings in 2020, with each of their names inscribed in ink along his fingers.
The aspiring entrepreneur also gave a glimpse at his siblings’ distinct personalities in a 2022 interview with Vogue Hong Kong, describing Harper as “the loudest,” Cruz as “the funniest” and Romeo as “the most energetic.”
“It was nice to grow up with siblings so close to my age,” he added at the time. “We are very close.”
