Vittoria Ceretti Works a Laced Dolce & Gabbana Dress on the Cover of D la Repubblica

It’s common knowledge that here at theFashionSpot, we’re huge champions of D la Repubblica. Under the control of Emanuele Farneti (formerly editor-in-chief of Vogue Italia), the publication rivals its competitors on the regular. However, the magazine has fallen slightly off our radar, and the last time the magazine truly took our fancy was in late 2024. Yet make no mistake that we are hook, line, and sinker when Farneti taps Vittoria Ceretti for the cover of D la Repubblica magazine. The Italian beauty fronts the issue dated September 6 via the lens of the photographer Oliver Hadlee Pearch. Emmanuelle Alt was called upon for styling duties, who dressed the current face of Fendi in a laced Dolce & Gabbana dress.

“The queen of Fall 2025. To be honest, the layout on the cover is annoying! There are so much better choices [from the story]! And for Emmanuelle to do a story without denim, the cover needed to be exceptional! Nevertheless, fabulous Vittoria,” commented Lola701 upon checking out the cover.

“This cover could’ve been a little more, but the editorial is great. It’s awesome to see one of our favorites nab ad campaigns and fashion covers back and forth!” raved WAVES.

Vogue28 was also very much a fan. “Nice to see D la Repubblica back on our radar – I love this! Must’ve been last year when the magazine last truly took my fancy. What a fabulous cover and accompanying shoot, which captures Vittoria wonderfully. She’s such a star! Alt on her top form with the styling here, and I love the beauty styling too,” he voiced.

“Love Vittoria, love Emmanuelle but the work of this photographer lately is just so basic. This could’ve been shot by any other photographer around. It’s like no one has an identity anymore, and they’re all copying each other,” critiqued blusheels.

Penny609 replied: “Agree that it’s clearly not Vittoria’s best piece of work ever, but I wouldn’t call it basic. Just not as thrilling as it should’ve been with names like this involved.”
