The Masked Singer's Paparazzo Revealed as This '90s Teen Heartthrob

The Masked Singer's Paparazzo Revealed as This '90s Teen Heartthrob
‘The Masked Singer’s’ Most Shocking Reveals That Made Fans' Jaws Drop

This boy has met a whole new side of himself on The Masked Singer.

A former '90s teen heartthrob was eliminated during the Fox singing competition series' April 16 episode—but not before proving to himself and viewers that he has quite the impressive vocal chops.

"If you had told me that this little guy would still be standing here, I'd say, 'You're crazy,' because I've never sang before," the TV and film star—disguised as season 13 character Paparazzo—admitted during a video package. "And—big spoiler alert—this next song is the biggest hint to my identity yet."

But before revealing his song, Paparazzo dropped a major hint about his true identity in the form of an appearance from Boy Meets World alum Danielle Fishel (a.k.a. Topanga from the beloved '90s sitcom).

The mystery celebrity then hit the stage and belted out a cover of TLC's hit "Unpretty."

Afterwards, the judges got 30 seconds to ask Paparazzo a series of questions, the most telling of which was if he'd ever been on a hit TV show. His answer? "Oh yeah!"

When it came to the star's final hint of the night, he unveiled a picture of lizards.

"I have a reptile zoo," Paparazzo told the judges. "It's right in my backyard. If you don't believe me, ask my famous family."

As for the guesses, Rita Ora was sure it was Fishel's Gravity Falls costar Jason Ritter while Ken Jeong picked Boy Meets World's Ben Savage and Robin Thicke went in a different direction with Frankie Muniz.

But only Jenny McCarthy correctly guessed it was Boy Meets World alum and star of classic '90s films like Mrs. Doubtfire Matthew Lawrence.

Upon his reveal, it became clear the 45-year-old's song choice was a connection to his current girlfriend of over two years, Rozonda Thomas a.k.a. Chilli from TLC.

"I did this ‘cause it’s kind of a fear of me, to be honest with you," Lawrence said upon his unmasking of his decision to participate in the competition. "The chance to sing and have that veil—that was a big thing for me."

He added, "It was a great experience. It was awesome."

Keep reading to meet the season 13 cast and see which other stars have been unmasked so far.
