Lee Andrews LIVE: Katie Price's husband 'must pay £100,00 to walk free'

The pair's relationship started when they checked out each others Instagram accounts - and they quickly took a liking to each other.
"How I met Lee was esoteric,' Katie said. "We connected [by] both checking each others’ socials and quickly realised, "wow, this is for me." All this without even meeting, we let fate, but you could say destiny, decide."
Fast forward to the present day, and Katie was even unfollowed by Lee - who quickly refollowed her - while the future of their relationship remains very much in the air.
It's not exactly known when Lee will be released. He was supposed to be released on Monday after paying a four-figure sum.
But it has since emerged that any release date could be weeks away, as the paperwork can take some time to process. The sum he now has to pay is reportedly in excess of £100,000.

While Katie hopes Lee will be released soon, it isn't that simple.
A source said: "Katie is desperately trying to get Lee out of prison. Despite everything that’s gone on, Lee is her husband, and Katie wants to get him out and get the answers she so badly needs."
The source went on to add: "She has been to the prison a number of times now, including going there today, to try to get the paperwork sorted to secure his release. To be released, Lee will have to pay over £100,000." It is reported that Katie won't need to pay a penny towards this.
However, any release for Lee won't be straightforward. The source went on to say that even if the self-proclaimed millionaire could find the cash, it could take weeks for the paperwork to be processed and his release be granted.
It was claimed tonight that Katie Price has been to the prison where husband Lee Andrews is being held to try and get him out. However, there is a hefty barrier to him walking free according to reports. A source added: "She has been to the prison a number of times now, including going there today, to try to get the paperwork sorted to secure his release. To be released, Lee will have to pay over £100,000."

It's being reported tonight that Lee Andrews is facing an enormous fine in excess of £100,000 to be released from jail. It come after Katie claimed that he could walk fee after handing over a "four figure" fee.
However, a source has told The Sun that Katie is not expected to pay anything, saying: “To be released, Lee will have to pay over £100,000. He is confident he can get the cash and has assured Katie she won’t need to pay anything.”
Katie Price has shared another update after saying she was touring Dubai authorities in the hunt for Lee Andrews.
Bizarrely, she doesn't mention her husband at all, saying instead that she's had a massage in Dubai and is heading to bed instead of going out partying.
She told fans: "That's so bad isn't it coming to Dubai and I'm going to bed half six in the evening? That is shocking when really I could go out, go and party, have a drink. But no, I'm happy to go back. Cup of team in my bed in the hotel room."
Mirror reporter Laura Harman calls the case of Katie Price's husband Lee Andrews "one of the more baffling cases I've covered" writing: "I've been trying to get to the bottom of the Lee Andrews mystery for the past few weeks and have kept hitting dead ends in this case that is getting more confusing as the weeks go by.
Katie Price said Lee Andrews is going to have some tough questions to answer from her - whether he is freed from jail or not. Pricey has flown to Dubai and is touring police stations, courts and jails to get to the bottom of what's going to happen to her husband of five months.
It's been a while since Katie Price has issued an update on what's going on with Lee Andrews, but she sent one from Dubai today as she set out to free her missing husband.

Katie Price has posted another video from Dubai, showing her ordering room service with her travelling companion Ben, who was in bed next to her in the clip. "I've known Ben 20 years, there's none of that we are just friends," she said.
What did she order? A Thai Pappaya salad, pot of English tea, biscuits and a Pepsi. Ben got a burger.
According to Katie some money needs to change hands before Lee Andrews is released from prison - with the figure previously being mentioned described as a "four-figure" sum. She said: "I've been told if two cases are paid they'll let him out." However, she didn't seem certain, telling fans: "I'm going to see if that's true."
Katie Price has made it perfectly clear she has flown to Dubai to ask questions of husband Lee Andrews. She insisted that "If he gets out then I need answers" to all the questions that have piled up about what's going on. If he remains in prison she said they will sit down in the jail "to chat about everything" though admitted they may only have half an hour of visiting time to thrash it out.

Katie Price explained to fans last night: "I know he's in a prison. I've been told if two cases are paid they'll let him out. I'm going to see if that's true. If he does he gets out and then I need answers and questions to a lot of stuff."
She added on Facebook: "If those cases are paid and he's not allowed out then I've got to try and get a visit to chat about everything. I think you only get half an hour. Either way I don't know if I'm going to see Lee or not when I get there."
From some of the snaps of Katie in the airport and from the videos that she has now shared, it appears that she has brought along a videographer to Dubai
The video shared by Katie showed that she was not along, with someone filming her as she spoke about her day going to visit prisons. She could also be seen wearing a microphone clipped to her top when she appeared at Gatwick Airport.
It has been reported that she has bene joined by Ben Algar, who has worked alongside Katie for years on various projects including her YouTube and some of her previous TV series.
It is speculated that Ben is set to capture the reunion between Lee and Katie, and document her attempts to free him from prison.
Katie Price has now shared an update from Dubai with her followers as she detailed that she had to cover up in order to visit prisons and courts.
"Today, even though it’s about 40 degrees outside, the places I’ve got to go today, you have to cover up hence the leggings, hence the jacket," she said in the video shared on Facebook.
"I mean, I can’t hide these, but I’m covered," as she pointed to her breasts. "It’s skintight but I’m covered. I’ve got to go to courts, prison and a police station. Not a visiting prison, but ‘the’ prison. And who knows today’s going to bring, I’ve had four hours sleep, not even that."
She added that she had barely slept: "I’ve probably had an hour-and-a-half sleep and I still look like this. I’ve had to put a device in my new phone, my UK one is rubbish. Let’s go, today is an important day for me."
She captioned the post shared with her followers thanking them for their support: "Today is an Important Day for me! Thank you for all your support!"
Lee Andrews is currently being held in Dubai Central Jail (also called Al Awir) located in the Al Aweer area of the city and has colloquially been called "Dubai Alcatraz".
Katie, 47, announced las weeK: “I have found him – he is alive, and he is okay. I told him how worried I had been and told him I loved him. It was very rushed, but he said the authorities out there thought he was a spy. I don’t know much more than that right now."
The prison has negatively hit the press many times over the years, with reports from multiple sources that the conditions are poor.
Detained in Dubai revealed that prisoners are unlikely to get a bed when they first arrive at the prison. "You may if you’re lucky get a bed, but more likely you’ll be on your blanket (which isn’t washed) on the floor. Each “Amber” – room – has 96 bunks making a total of 192 beds," their site details.
Human Rights Watch reported human rights violations, including non-national detainees being denied essential HIV treatment. They also highlighted several other issues: "Prisons across the UAE held detainees in dismal and unhygienic conditions, where overcrowding and lack of adequate medical care is widespread."
Katie has flown out to be reunited with Lee in Dubai, but a source has now told the Daily Mail that this will not be happening.
"Katie is going to the [Al Awir] prison on Wednesday to try to speak to Lee. He is still locked up there and it does not look like he is getting out any time soon," an insider told the outlet.
Her husband has been reportedly detained in Al Awir prison regarding a 'private civil matter' and not for espionage - as he previously told his wife.
Alana Percival, who was engaged to Lee Andrews last year, has been outspoken about her ex's alleged behaviour and claimed that while he was in prison he was in constant contact with her.
Alana claimed in a story post shared on Instagram: "If Katie and Lee's marriage was real she would be able to find out a lot more and be aloud [sic] to speak to the police to find out what is going on and visits and calls, for the 3 weeks that he was in there when I was with him he was able to cal me 2/3 times a day!!!"
Laweyers told The Mirror that the wedding itself might not be recognised in the UK. They said: "The first step to work out if a divorce can take place here is to check the marriage is recognised in England and Wales.
"Not all marriage 'ceremonies' abroad are. Only those that are valid in the country where they took place can be recognised; in other words, the correct legal process in that country was followed."
Divorce lawyers also previously told The Mirror that Katie could be facing a complicated divorce if she and Lee split after this ordeal, as she wouldn't be able to divorce in England until 2027.
On the flip side, if she applies for a divorce in the UAE, the shortness of her marriage "reduces the amount of alimony payable," and the court "is not concerned with assets outside of the UAE" — leaving "limited scope for any claims."
Three weeks on from when Lee went 'missing' after failing to arrive in the UK for a joint interview with Katie, here is what we know.
Last night Katie shared a video filmed inside a car where she discussed the effects of CBD oil. The view from the car appeared to show that the star was warmer climes in a foreign country, which would line up with the recent snaps taken of Katie at Gatwick Airport with a huge suitcase and her engagement ring firmly on her finger.
She revealed on Facebook that she is set to travel to Dubai to try and visit him in prison, but added: "I don't know if I'm going to see Lee or I'm not when I get there and it's a really weird feeling."
Lee told Katie he was in Al Awir prison, also known as "Dubai Alcatraz" in a brief phone call last week, as he claims he was detained after being mistaken for a spy. It has not been confirmed by Dubai authorities that he is in prison, or was in fact charged with espionage.
While he has allegedly been in prison, he has unfollowed and followed Katie - the only person he follows on Instagram. His account also followed a woman dubbed "biker babe" who used to be on a millionaire matchmaker site, but she appears to have ultimately blocked his account.
The phone call about Lee's whereabouts came after he'd been "missing" for almost two weeks, with Katie telling fans that her husband had been "kidnapped" and she had to get Interpol involved after as he was being taken to a "black site".
Since this ordeal began in May, Katie has faced criticism for using Lee's alleged arrest as a PR stunt to promote her CBD oil collaboration and her music. She has also been met with sympathy from fans who believe she had no involvement and is being "conned" by her husband.
Susie Barter, family law partner at Burgess Mee, told The Mirror that Katie could file for divorce in the UAE or the UK - but neither will be simple.
"If Katie and Lee were legally married in Abu Dhabi, she could apply for a no-fault divorce directly through the Abu Dhabi Judicial Portal, and the divorce could be granted in as little as 30 days," Susie said. "She would just need to support her application with a copy of the marriage certificate and proof of identity.”
She added that proceedings "can be initiated online whether or not the applicant is resident in the UAE."

After it emerged that Lee may have unfollowed Katie on Instagram, he quickly refollowed his wife in the latest twist of their relationship saga.
However, his page still states that another person is "managing" his account. As a result, it remains unclear whether Lee has been released from prison, as he had been due to on Tuesday (June 2).
An insider close to Katie claims she is furious and is looking forward to meeting him. Speaking to Heat, the source said: "Lee called Katie, saying he was in prison, she was glad he was OK, but she still feels totally humiliated.
"She's devastated at what happened, but also furious," the source added. "She was genuinely scared he might be dead.
"She's said he'll need an even bigger hole to crawl into once she's finished with him. For starters, she wants a divorce.
"She's been in bits for the last few weeks – she can't get her head around any of it, especially the ghosting. He literally just vanished and she felt like she was living in purgatory."
Speaking to her fans on Facebook in her latest post, Katie said: "What's happening today then? I'm going to Dubai, to find Lee... I know he's in a prison."
She continued: "I don't know if I'm going to see Lee or I'm not when I get there and it's a really weird feeling. I'm excited to see him but I don't even know if I am going to see him, and if I don't see him this week, realistically I can't fly to Dubai until the middle of July.
"It's a long time."

Eating a sandwich, she went on to say: "I need to know what's happening for his sake, my sake, clarity on everything... I just need a lot of answers to a lot of things. It's crunch time now."
Katie Price told her followers yesterday that she is on her way to Dubai to see her husband - and hopefully get some answers to exactly what has been going on.
Her last post was seven hours ago on Facebook, and the previous one showed Katie all smiles at the airport holding a model airplane.
No posts from Katie in Dubai (yet) - she may have some interesting updates for fans on Wednesday.
Her Instagram account may have been deleted pending an investigation into her CBD posts, but Katie is back. On Instagram tonight, the former model claims she'd had celebrities messaging her, asking whether CBD gummies actually helped with sleeping and anxiety.
She says they do. When asked if they were a drug, she explained that they are legal gummies and can be purchased over the counter in stores such as Spar and petrol stations. "It really does help with sleep," she added, saying that the gummies give people a "calm" feeling, and they help with her ADHD. "Thank you for all of your messages," she told concerned fans.
It appears that Katie is in Dubai and active on her phone. She's taken to Instagram and shared a cryptic post, not long after her husband's account refollowed her.
Her post read: "Behind every strong woman is a story that changed her. A heartbreak she didn't see coming. A loss she never wanted. A battle she never asked to fight. She didn't become strong because it was easy, she became strong because she had no other choice.
"And now? That strength is her power. Her resilience is her weapon. Her faith is her anchor. She may carry scars, but those scars shine as proof that she made it through. Strong women aren't born, they're built in the fire. And if you see one standing tall, know this: she carries a story of survival that turned into strength."
So... Lee is back on his phone, or somebody is on his Instagram... His account has now refollowed Katie!
However, his page still states that another person is "managing" his account, so it remains unclear whether Lee has been released from prison.

While Katie often shares glimpses of her relationship on social media, she has not mentioned Lee.
Instead, the former model has shared snaps with her daughter Princess and son Junior after a weekend of "fun".
It has been claimed that Katie is actually heading to the Middle East for a 'showdown' with her husband - and that she could even demand a divorce.
Sources say the star is furious and is keen to confront him after being left angry at what he has put her through. Speaking to Heat, an insider claimed: “Lee called Katie, saying he was in prison, she was glad he was OK, but she still feels totally humiliated. She’s devastated at what happened, but also furious. She was genuinely scared he might be dead."She’s said he’ll need an even bigger hole to crawl into once she’s finished with him. For starters, she wants a divorce. She’s been in bits for the last few weeks – she can’t get her head around any of it, especially the ghosting. He literally just vanished and she felt like she was living in purgatory.”

Once she lands, fans will be keen to see where exactly Katie Price and Lee Andrews spend their time after being reunited.
After claims he spent £36million on an opulent mansion Dubai, he was actually found living with his father in a rundown bungalow miles from the city's hub.
Last time she paid him a visit, the pair were staying in a plush hotel.
