Kim Kardashian & Kris Jenner in the Roberto Cavalli x SKIMS Campaign Might Give You Déjà Vu…

Kim Kardashian is certainly no stranger to a photoshoot. Whether the American social media sensation is delivering the goods via the cover of Vogue Arabia or morphing into Marilyn Monroe as the face of Balenciaga – Kim delivers. The billionaire businesswoman also serves whenever she makes an appearance in the campaigns for Skims (the shapewear and clothing brand co-founded by Kim in 2019). The campaign to accompany the release of the Roberto Cavalli x SKIMS collection is no different. Kim is joined by her mother Kris Jenner in the retro-inspired campaign imagery, lensed by photographer Nadia Lee Cohen. The pair (including model Cintia Dicker) pose around within an immaculately presented home in Los Angeles, evoking the aura of ‘la dolce vita’ stateside.

Skims have given us more superior campaigns than most high-fashion campaigns – this included. The first campaign image is very reminiscent of Steven Meisel’s Versace campaign but I’m not complaining!” voiced vogue28.

Overindulgence shared the same sentiments. “Not sure what there is to hate about this – it’s fun and doesn’t take itself seriously lol. I love Nadia Lee Cohen, she is definitely inspired by the likes of Meisel, Avedon, Cindy Sherman, and LaChapelle but it’s always very her. I appreciate something with actual set design and investment in a creative direction,” they shared.
