Katie Price makes 'sad' Harvey decision as son, 23, smashes £3k TV in huge rage

Katie Price revealed that her son Harvey was sent back to college earlier than planned after he smashed her £3,000 telly. The former glamour girl opened up on Snapchat about the calamity that resulted in her eldest lad "smashing" the expensive gadget. Harvey's , 23, sudden outburst meant she had to source a replacement TV for her lounge. Posting a video on the app, Katie caught the moment on camera as she confronted Harvey, who is visually impaired due to septo-optic dysplasia, autistic and has Prader-Willi Syndrome—a rare genetic disorder that triggers a voracious hunger.

The 47 year old clarified she had been awoken by the sounds of the TV breaking at the crack of dawn. In the footage, Katie can be heard asking: "What has mummy just heard?" To which Harvey calmly admitted: "Smashing the TV." She probed further into the reason behind his actions, and he confessed it had irked him. However, she expressed scepticism to her online audience, confessing she doubted anything was even on the screen to annoy him, reports the Mirror.

Price then informed Harvey: "You was going to college tomorrow to get some new meds [medication], but now when are you going? You are going now."

Met with a forlorn "Oh god," from Harvey, Katie expounded that his premature return was necessary so she could fetch a new television for their household. She lamented over the episode, labelling it as "sad".

Later, Harvey expressed his regret to the former glamour model and assured her it wouldn't recur. However, Katie informed her son: "Well you've got to go to college now and get some meds."

This update follows Katie's celebration of her son's 23rd birthday last month. She posted a lovely photo of herself and her son sharing a cuddle in bed prior to his birthday festivities.

On Bank Holiday Monday, Katie took to her Instagram stories to express her joy about Harvey growing a year older. The heartwarming post showed the pair lying face-to-face in bed, enjoying a laid-back day at home as she penned: "Bank holiday cuddles before lots of celebrations tomorrow."

She has been candid about Harvey's escalating health issues as he reached 30 stone on the scales.

In a frank discussion with her sister Sophie on The Katie Price Show, she said: "He's just under 30st and that's massive," she clarified.

"He's on the brink of a heart attack. His life won't be long if he continues to gain more weight."

Katie then admitted they are collaborating closely with a medical team to try to improve his situation.
