Celebrity Big Brother star Chris Hughes' former singing career with Love Island co-star

The latest series of Celebrity Big Brother is well underway, with a new group of celebrities entering the renowned house earlier this week.
This year's glittering line-up features EastEnders legend Patsy Palmer, TOWIE's Ella Rae Wise and American internet sensation JoJo Siwa.
We've already witnessed a good deal of drama, as well as the first round of nominations, with Mickey Rourke, Michael Fabricant and Jack P Shepherd all up for eviction tonight (April 11).
One contestant who's been receiving a lot of positive feedback is Love Island's Chris Hughes, and it might come as a surprise to learn that he once had a career in music.
Chris first rose to fame when he appeared on Love Island in 2017, reaching the final with his then-partner Olivia Attwood, reports OK!
After leaving the villa, Chris formed a musical duo with his Love Island co-star Kem Cetinay - who notably won the third series alongside Amber Davies.
Their debut single, Little Bit Leave It, reached number fifteen on the UK Singles Chart in 2017. However, they didn't continue their musical collaboration, with both embarking on various solo projects.
Chris has since starred in several reality shows including Tipping Point: Lucky Stars, Celebrity Hunted and Pointless Celebrities, as well as his own documentary, titled Me, My Brother and Our Balls.
Soon after, Chris made the transition to presenting live horse racing events, co-hosting live coverage for ITV Racing at prestigious meets like Royal Ascot, Cheltenham Festival and The Grand National.
His presence on Celebrity Big Brother recently made waves when he defended his housemate JoJo against Mickey's "offensive and unacceptable" comments.
As Mickey was being reprimanded by Big Brother in the Diary Room, Chris was seen providing comfort to an emotional JoJo, saying "There's right and there's wrong... You're such a cool dude, we love you."
CBB fans quickly took to X (formerly Twitter) to praise Chris's actions, with one person writing: "Major respect to Chris for being the only one to speak up."
"Early prediction that Chris Hughes will win this series. What an all round lovely guy!" another added, while a third said: "I love Chris he's such a beautiful kind genuine person."
A fourth viewer echoed the sentiment, saying: "I have gained a massive amount of respect for Chris Hughes after that clip. It takes a lot for a man to tell another, older (richer and more famous) man that he's out of line."
