A source exclusively told Us Weekly that the pair is in a “really good place and on the path to getting back together,” adding that their daughter, Saga, has “brought them closer.”

“Things are going really well, and they have reconnected in a meaningful way,” the insider said. “They are basically back together, as they have been spending every night together with the baby.” Still, Fox and Kelly “aren’t putting a label on their relationship” because doing so would add “extra stress.”

Fox “likes things to be fluid with them so it allows her freedom in case MGK does something she doesn’t approve of,” according to the source, who also shared that she “doesn’t want to get her heart broken again and hasn’t fully let her guard down.”

This development comes just months after another source told Us Weekly that they were “absolutely not getting back together at this point in time,” though Fox was “grateful” the musician had been present as a father. “Megan thinks MGK has stepped up and is being a good dad, but doesn’t think they have a future together romantically,” the source said at the time.

Fox and Kelly welcomed their daughter in March 2025. The two first met while filming Midnight in the Switchgrass in 2020. They got engaged in 2022 and announced they were expecting in November 2024. Their relationship, however, has had its ups and downs, and they ultimately split before welcoming Saga on March 27.
