Meet the <em>Love Island USA</em> Season 8 Singles Taking Over the Villa


Harvey is from Tyrone, Georgia, and has a strong sports background. Her father is retired NBA player Donnell Harvey, and she played volleyball at Florida Atlantic University. She graduated in 2024 with a degree in business marketing. In Peacock’s teaser, she described herself as “super friendly” and “a bit competitive,” before tossing in a plea: “Please, Love Island, give me a man.” With her athletic skills and self-proclaimed “extra” personality, she’s sure to bring a lot of energy to the villa.

Hatz was dumped from the villa in episode 9 on June 12.
Hatz is one of the most accomplished athletes to join the show. Based in San Diego, she’s a Team USA Paralympian who won a bronze medal in the long jump at the 2024 Paris Paralympics. Her Team USA profile notes she was born without a fibula in her right leg and had a below-the-knee amputation. Outside of sports, she likes painting, drawing, and snowboarding. When asked about her romantic type in the promo clip, she said, “Tall and handsome.”

Dettloff, who’s based in Los Angeles, DJs professionally. When he’s not spinning tracks, he’s doing handyman gigs—including electrical work on garbage trucks, which he admitted is “literally so disgusting.” Still, as he put it, “You got to do what you got to do.”

Vasconcelos is ready to “bring the Brazilian fire” to the villa, he said in the teaser. The Miami resident speaks Portuguese, Spanish, and English, and also called making out his “love language,” giving viewers a good idea of what we can expect.

Chandler, representing Fresno, California, is a nursing assistant who’s well aware of the perks that come with the job. “Women love men in healthcare,” he said. “If you’re a man, you have scrubs, your muscles showing a little bit, they’re going for that every time.” We’ll see if that swagger pays off in the villa.

Annis flew to Fiji fresh off a major milestone. The Georgia native just graduated from nursing school at Kennesaw State University and shared in Peacock’s teaser that she dreams of a big family. “I want five to 10 kids,” she said, before adding that she’s open to adoption.

Moreno, a Los Angeles-based bikini store manager, has already shown Love Island USA fans her sense of humor. When asked which bikini style sums up her dating life, the Dominican contestant didn’t miss a beat: “The ones in the ‘damaged’ bin,” she said in the promo clip.

Reifel was dumped from the villa in episode 5 on June 8.
This Easton, Pennsylvania, native is a police officer and, according to local news outlet Daily Voice, a dad to a young son. In the Peacock teaser, he shared that he’s looking for someone emotionally intelligent, saying, “The more thoughtful you are, I think that shit is so pretty.” He also confessed that joining Love Island USA feels “very surreal.”

With a name like Sincere, making an impression is almost guaranteed. The New Jersey contestant is a former collegiate track star, having competed at Penn State before stints at the University of Miami and Texas Tech, per Daily Voice. “I’m a chaser,” he quipped in his promo confessional. “That’s why I just run track.” He also said he signs his emails “Sincerely, Sincere,” which is, admittedly, pretty good branding.

Tatum is banking on Fiji to deliver better romantic prospects than her hometown. The Newport News, Virginia, native joked that dating locally is a gamble. “You could be dating someone, and that might be your second cousin or something,” she said in her confessional. She’s also not here for games, making it clear that honesty is non-negotiable. “I love a respectful man,” she added. “If you’re being sneaky, I am going to check that phone.”

Reality TV runs in the family for Georgiou. Coming from Birmingham, England, he’s the younger brother of Charlie Georgiou, who made his mark on season 7 of Love Island USA and later on Love Island: Beyond the Villa. “My brother Charlie was on Love Island last year, and now I’m here to see if I can do better,” Zach said in the promo clip.
The self-proclaimed digital creator, per his Instagram bio, also shared a non-negotiable involving his cat, Lola. “My girlfriend needs to love my cat, or else she’s out the door, 100 percent,” he revealed.

Bosse wasted no time making an entrance. The 22-year-old New Hampshire native arrived as one of season 8’s first bombshells and made it clear she wasn’t planning to play it safe. “I’m in my player mode,” she said as she entered the villa, warning the other women that she wasn’t afraid to ruffle a few feathers if it meant finding a connection. Mims got one of the season’s more memorable introductions. The Miami entrepreneur made his bombshell debut through a surprise twist that gave him private time with the women before officially joining the villa. Naturally, chaos followed.

Terry wasn’t shy about her intentions when she entered as a bombshell. The 23-year-old model, who works across Los Angeles, Miami, and New York, made it clear that she came to find a connection—even if it meant testing some of the villa’s existing couples.

According to McDaniel, the villa has been missing one key ingredient: Southern charm. The Charleston-based welder arrived as a bombshell believing he has a certain easygoing appeal the other men can’t quite replicate.

Dean arrived carrying what may be the most valuable currency in the Love Island villa: absolute confidence. The model confidently predicted she’d turn heads upon arrival, suggesting she’s not worried about making an impression—only deciding who to impress first.
