Jennifer Aniston has kept her love life largely out of the public eye since her 2018 split from Justin Theroux, but that appears to be changing. In July 2025, the Friends star was photographed vacationing in Mallorca, Spain, with Jim Curtis, a wellness expert whose resume spans everything from hypnotherapy to roles at major health platforms. Days later, People and Us Weekly confirmed that Aniston and Curtis were dating.

While neither has commented publicly on their relationship, sources have spoken about their connection. Below, everything to know about Curtis.

Curtis refers to himself as a “wellness pioneer, author, and coach,” on his official website. His approach blends subconscious work, mindfulness, and spiritual coaching to help people “break free from their past to create an entirely new, empowered reality.”

Curtis’s background includes roles at WebMD and Everyday Health. He now works as a transformational coach and speaker, offering services he calls “hypno-realizations.”

Curtis’s focus on healing is personal. At 22 years old, he was diagnosed with lesions on his spinal cord, which led to years of chronic pain, muscle spasms, and mobility issues. “It was unknown how they started, but I very rapidly became ill and soon had trouble walking,” he said in a 2018 interview with Fast Company.

“My own illness and disability forced me to confront the limited beliefs, disconnection, and trauma that were keeping me sad, sick, and alone,” Curtis writes on his website. “Through many powerful tools, including hypno-realization, I not only transformed my physical health, depression, and relationships, but I’ve also helped thousands of others break free to create an entirely new reality full of connection, community, and love.”

Curtis has written two books: The Stimulati Experience (2017), which outlines nine principles for overcoming pain and setbacks, and Shift: Quantum Manifestation Guide (2024), co-authored with Sara Hadir.

In May 2025, Aniston shared a photo of one of Curtis’s books in an Instagram carousel, tagging him in the post.

Curtis has cultivated a strong online presence, posting manifestation exercises and motivational videos for over 550,000 followers. His content regularly covers themes like emotional resilience, moving on from heartbreak, and building self-worth. Some of his past clients include Miranda Kerr and Julianne Hough.

Curtis and Aniston were first spotted together at the luxury resort Ventana Big Sur in California. A source told Page Six they appeared “cuddled up” while dining at the hotel’s restaurant in June.

In July, they were photographed again in Mallorca, alongside Aniston’s longtime friends Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka. Photos published by Daily Mail showed Aniston introducing Curtis to the couple before they boarded a yacht.

More photos published by the Daily Mail a few days later showed Aniston and Curtis getting affectionate aboard the vessel, holding hands and leaning in towards one another. In one image, Curtis touches the actress’s hair in a sweet gesture.

While the Mallorca trip brought their rumored romance into the public eye, Aniston and Curtis connected before. According to Daily Mail, Aniston has followed Curtis on Instagram for nearly two years and has liked numerous posts on topics such as healing, affirmations, and relationships.

In April, she told Travel + Leisure that she’d recently begun using hypnosis to overcome her fear of flying, though she didn’t mention Curtis by name. “But I have been doing some hypnosis lately... it’s shockingly good!” she said.

On July 13, 2025, a source told People that Curtis and Aniston were by set up by a friend. “They've been seeing each other for a few months now,” the source said. “They were introduced by a friend and started out as friends. Jen had read his book and was familiar with his work. She's really into self-help and wellness. They are dating, but it’s still casual.”

A source told Us Weekly on July 10 that the new couple has been keeping their romance private. “They’ve been hanging out a lot, but very much on the DL at her home in L.A.,” the insider explained. “It’s very Zen, and she has always been very much into that. They’re a good match.”

The source added that they’re “happy and really into each other.”

Beyond coaching, Curtis is the co-founder of UFACTORY, a branding firm that helps creators and entrepreneurs grow their digital identities. The company’s mission, per its website, is to build “creator, entrepreneur, and CEO personas that attract loyal fandoms and supercharge revenue opportunities.”

In mid-July, shortly after a vacation in Mallorca with Aniston, Curtis wrote in his newsletter per Page Six, “I am back from vacation and what an experience! When I was sick, sad, stuck and in pain I never thought I would have the abundance, joy, and love I now experience on a daily basis.”

On August 4, Aniston and Curtis were seen in New York City enjoying a dinner with Jason Bateman and Amanda Anka, days after returning from their trip in Spain.

On August 8, Curtis was photographed in New York City’s Tribeca with Aniston and his rescue dog, Odie. “Jennifer really bonded with Jim over his love for rescue dogs,” a source told Daily Mail. “Instead of dating around, he rescued Odie, which gave him so much love he didn't have to run around with random women. He had been single for a while, so when he met Jennifer, he had a clean slate.”

On August 18, the couple was spotted in Malibu with Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid, photographed leaving Nobu together. Aniston opted for a laid-back look with a blue jacket layered over a white shirt, paired with relaxed blue jeans and thin-framed glasses.

Curtis kept his look casual in a dark denim button-down worn open over a gray T-shirt, paired with green trousers and white sneakers.

Aniston and Curtis were photographed back in New York City on Friday, September 5. Aniston wore a white tank top, a gauzy ivory-colored jacket, and a pair of blue jeans with gray patch details. She carried a black purse over one shoulder and wore a pair of black thong sandals. Curtis followed behind in a black jacket, matching pants, and white T-shirt.

On September 7, Aniston shared an Instagram recapping her summer. The second-to-last slide was a photo showing the back of Curtis’s head as he looked out at a sunset over the ocean. She captioned the post, “Thank you summer ☀️❤️🙏.”

Other slides featured pics of her spending time with friends, including Courteney Cox, Sandra Bullock, Sean Hayes, and Adam Sandler.

On September 10, Curtis stepped out with Aniston at the season 4 premiere of The Morning Show. Aniston walked the carpet on her own in a simple black gown, with Curtis standing nearby as she posed for photos.

During a Q&A on Instagram, Curtis was asked, “How to find love at 42?”

He answered, “That’s a great question, same as you do at 22 and 32 but with more confidence, more experience and more authenticity. You're not old. First love yourself and recognize that you are the perfect age. And that life is not over at 42. When you are 62 and 72, you will look back at 42 and wish that you were that age.”

He continued, “So start now. Go out, open yourself to love. Make eye contact and smile. Connect with people, and most importantly, love yourself. When you love yourself, you will magnetize more love to you.”
