(Image: George Cracknell Wright)Women and children dressed in pink joined a protest outside a migrant hotel in London on Saturday (August 2). They protested peacefully before masked rioters stormed the demonstration and clashed with police.
Around 200 anti-migrant protesters gathered outside the Britannia International Hotel in Canary Wharf. They waved flags and chanted "save our kids and women".
Pictures from the protest show the women and children sitting down on the road outside the hotel. They also marched through the area with St George's Cross flags, calling for an end to small boat crossings.
However, men wearing balaclavas arrived at around 3pm and threw red and white smoke flares. They clashed with police and sparked the Met Office to issue a Section 42 dispersal order.
