Prince Harry's 'nervous gesture' that he gets from King Charles spotted in key moment

Prince Harry showed a “nervous gesture” in a key moment in his life that he developed from his father King Charles, a body language expert has said. Earlier this month, Harry and Meghan celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary.
This date no doubt reminded them of their special 2018 wedding day, as well as their 2017 engagement. Like most royal couples, their engagement was announced to the world in 2017 via a photocall and an engagement interview. While Harry, 41, would have been used to interviews at this point, he seemed particularly nervous in this one, according to one body language expert.
His nerves were shown through a gesture that also used to be carried out by his father King Charles.
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, body language expert Darren Stanton said: “Harry is clearly uncharacteristically nervous, he was tucking his hand into his jacket a lot which is a textbook protective gesture - one that he and William have inherited from Charles.
“He has really grown since then though and we hardly see that from him anymore.
“Meghan by contrast was incredibly confident, her strides were long and purposeful. Her gestures are also incredibly open and welcoming. She demonstrates a lot of open palm movements which show her to be totally at home and at ease.”

Stanton continued: “She has always been very consistent. I guess her background as an actress means she is used to the bright lights of fame, but equally it could be that she is better at concealing her nerves.
“Meghan was also very supportive of Harry. Her hands were interlocked tightly around his throughout. You can see that she senses his nerves.
“Her confident strides and open gestures could also have been part of this, trying to exude confidence to help bolster Harry’s.”
