Donald Trump health issue pinpointed as large mysterious bruise reappears

Donald Trump may have recently used an IV drip according to speculations by a doctor, after spotting a curious bruise reemerging on the former US president's hand.
Trump was spotted last night at an event in Washington DC where he attended the presentation ceremony for the Commander-in-Chief Trophy, bestowed upon the American college football series champions among teams from the Military Academy.
While addressing the gathered military members, many times holding an American football engraved with 'Donald J Trump' and a large winners' ring, an extensive bruise could be seen adorning the back of his right hand.
This isn't the first occasion this year that such a bruise has been seen in photographs. A medical professional suggested it might be the result of accidentally hitting his hand, or it could indicate that a needle had been inserted.
Dr Gareth Nye from the University of Salford had previously surmised in February that based on the vivid greenish-purple blemish, Trump might be undergoing IV therapy, reports the Daily Star.
The same bruising was evident when President Emmanuel Macron of France paid a visit to Trump at the Oval Office during their prior encounter.
Now, the strikingly similar mark has resurfaced, apparently on the identical hand. It was also noticeable earlier in the day during Trump's Oval Office meeting with El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele.
Highlighting its resemblance to the mark seen in February, Dr. Nye postulated that it "could be from an IV drip".
Speaking about the 78 year old, he explained: "Bruising is much more common as you age due to the thinning of skin and weakening of blood vessels.
"As we age, even minor bumps can result in bruising and there's often very little underlying to suggest a health concern.
"This is more likely if a person is on blood thinning medication or has been exposed to excessive sunlight. It could also be a completely benign condition called Actinic purpura, which is also caused by excessive sun exposure.
"It does resemble the type of bruising left by IV drip insertion, although there's no evidence of IV usage or need."
Trump made his appearance in Washington in the East Room of the White House in April for the presentation of the Commander-in-Chief Trophy, which was awarded to the Navy football team.
"Today it's a great honour to officially present the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy to the 2024 Navy Midshipmen team, a great team," he addressed the gathering.
"You won 10 out of 13 games, including nine by double digits," Trump continued. "You beat Air Force. You beat Army. And now this 170-pound trophy is yours once again."
They also triumphed over Oklahoma University.
Trump concluded: "That's a serious team. We're not playing games here".
