New vision for Belek tourism

There has been a significant management change in Antalya Belek , one of Turkey 's leading tourism destinations. Belek Tourism Investors Association ( BETUYAB ) has completed its ordinary general assembly and determined its new management. Following Fikret Öztürk , who has been serving as president for two terms, the new president of the association has become Özdoğan Group Board Member Ali Özdoğan .

According to the news in Milliyet , the new management, headed by Ali Özdoğan , held its first meeting with the aim of bringing a new vision to Belek tourism. At the meeting, projects that will strengthen the destination brand and sustainable development goals were discussed.

The new board of directors includes the following names: President: Ali Özdoğan Vice President: İbrahim Pektaş

Members: Ayhan Akan Bektaş, Mehmet Aygün, Özgür Nazik, Kaan Kaşif Kavaloğlu, Ramazan Kara, Ömer İçkale, Harika Güral, Yasin Akkanat, Mehmet Akif Tamince, Yunus Özdemir, Kübra Akbalık Namlıcı.

Young generation tourism professionals are at the helm

Another striking element in the new period was the inclusion of second and third generation tourism professionals in the management. Among the young names in the management are promising representatives of the sector such as Yasin Akkanat ( Sirene & Kempinski ), Ömer İçkale ( Space Hotel) , Harika Güral ( Güral Hotels ) , Yunus Özdemir (Gloria Hotels ), Kübra Akbalık Namlıcı (Ela Hotel), Mehmet Akif Tamince ( Rixos Hotels ), Özgür Nazik ( Papillon ) and Ramazan Kara ( Mirage Park Hotel) .

Experienced tourism professionals also took their place in the new management along with the young generation. Mehmet Aygün ( Titanic Hotels ), Ayhan Bektaş ( Xanadu – ODEN Group ), İbrahim Pektaş ( Cornelia – Diler Holding ) and Kaan Kaşif Kavaloğlu ( Limak Hotels ) will contribute to the management with their experience.

Close cooperation with the public

The new administration made close cooperation with public institutions a priority as soon as it took office. Following visits to Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek and Chief Public Prosecutor Yakup Ali Kahveci , a meeting was held with Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy on July 1.

“Belek will be the pioneer of sustainable tourism”

BETUYAB President Ali Özdoğan stated in his statement that they wanted to make Belek not only a holiday destination but also a symbol of sustainable development and environmentally compatible investments. Özdoğan said, “Tourism is no longer just an economic activity; it is one of the cornerstones of Turkey’s development strategy. We are determined to turn Belek into an exemplary model.”

Promotion and infrastructure attack

In the new period, a special development and promotion plan for Belek will be put into effect with the direct support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It is aimed to make the region more visible on an international scale, increase investor interest and accelerate infrastructure projects.
