As Kerim Ürey was fleeing the scene, gunshots caused alarm and fear in the area. Numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene after being alerted by bystanders. Paramedics administered first aid to Kılıç and Fırat, who were lying bleeding on the ground, before transporting the injured to hospitals by ambulance. Despite doctors' best efforts, Kılıç and Fırat, who were in critical condition, could not be saved.

Found dead in his car
Following the incident, police launched a large-scale search for Kerim Üre, who fled the scene in his car. Shortly after, police spotted the car parked on 5509th Street in the Habibler neighborhood of the Kepez district and approached to check it out.
An investigation determined that Kerim Üre died from a gunshot wound to the head while driving. A gun was also found inside the car. Initial investigations suggest Üre may have committed suicide with his own weapon.
