HE FILED A COMPLAINT, SAYING "I WAS DECEIVED"
Following the incident, it was revealed that İ.K. had previously filed a complaint with the police, claiming that he had been defrauded by Aykut Canımoğlu. It was learned that İ.K. had explained the process he had experienced in detail in his statements to the press in December last year.
"HE CAME TO ME TO TAKE MY CAR"
I.K. stated that he wanted to buy Aykut Canımoğlu's vehicle and said:
"Aykut came to me. He said, 'If you are selling the vehicle, I will buy it for my wife.' I accepted. We agreed on 1 million 600 thousand lira. When we went to the notary, he asked for my son's account information. He said, 'The money should be transferred to his account.' He showed me the receipt stating that he sent me money. We came to the notary and prepared the documents. At that moment, I called my son and asked him if the money had been sent to his account, but I couldn't reach him because he was working on the ship. Aykut said, 'I showed him the receipt, the money was sent.' I signed it."

"WE DID NOT RECEIVE OUR MONEY FOR 4 MONTHS"
I.K. stated that he later learned that the vehicle was sold to a car dealership in Yalova on the same day and said:
"When I returned home that day, I asked my son if the money had been transferred to the account. He checked and said the money was gone. We called Aykut and he said, 'It's Friday, it will be transferred to your account in the evening.' We checked in the evening, but it was still gone. He said, 'It will be deposited on Monday because it's the weekend.' Four months passed and we still haven't received our money.
A week after the incident, I went to his father. He said, 'We will give you your money, we will not take your money.' I still did not get a response. In the following meetings, they said, 'It is none of our business, go and get your money from your son.' But at first, they had vouched for me."
