Santarelli: "I'M PROUD OF MY TEAM AND EVERYONE WHO'S WITH US"
Daniele Santarelli, head coach of the Crescent-Star team, also expressed his pride in the success achieved.Santarelli said, "Only those who work as hard as we do can truly understand what we're capable of and what we can achieve. We've been working incredibly hard all summer. Between the VNL and the World Championship, you've seen how far we've pushed our limits and how much we've improved by watching us on your screens. We had a dream at the beginning of this journey. I'm so happy we've achieved it. The reason we're a little sad right now is that we missed out on the championship when we were so close. Beyond that, I'm so happy for my entire team with what we've achieved, what we're going to achieve, pushing our limits, and where we've come. I want to thank everyone we've worked with over the past three years because we've accomplished amazing things. I'm so proud of my team and everyone who's been with us."
Captain Eda Erdem Dündar stated that they were experiencing a moment beyond their dreams, making the following assessment: "When we began preparations for the World Championship, we set a goal and went to Thailand. We absolutely wanted a medal. Now we're experiencing a moment beyond our dreams. We're so happy and proud. We're in a historic period for Turkish volleyball. I'm so happy to be a part of this team, this team that's making history. I believe the future is bright for this team. Thank you so much to the entire country for your support."
