The National Women's Volleyball Team ranked 2nd in the World

The Turkish National Women's Volleyball Team faced Italy in the finals of the World Women's Championship.

The National Volleyball Team, which lost the final match 3-2, finished the tournament second.

Playing in the finals for the first time in its history, the National Women's Volleyball Team earned the silver medal.

1st set: 23 – 25 (Italy)

2nd set: 25 – 13 ( Turkey )

3rd set: 24 – 26 (Italy)

4th set: 25 – 19 (Türkiye)

5th set: 15- 8 (Italy)

THE ROAD TO THE FINAL

The Turkish National Women's Volleyball Team advanced to the last 16 round by defeating Spain, Bulgaria and Canada in Group E of the World Women's Championship.

The Turkish national volleyball team defeated Slovenia 3-0 in the round of 16. The Crescent-Stars then advanced to the semifinals by defeating the USA 3-1 in the quarterfinals.

The National Women's Volleyball Team advanced to the finals for the first time in its history by defeating Japan 3-1 in the semi-finals.
