Surprise defeat from the Sultans of the Net! An extraordinary set wasn't enough to make a comeback

The Turkish women's national volleyball team faced the Czech Republic as heavy favorites in the FIVB Women's Nations League. The Sultans of the Net lost the match 3-1 at the Omnisport Hall in the Netherlands.
Having lost the first set 25-22 and the second 25-21, the Sultans of the Net produced an extraordinary third-set victory. After an unprecedented 25-4 victory, the national team fell behind 25-20 in the third set, ultimately losing the match 3-1.
With this result, Türkiye suffered its second defeat in its 10th match in the FIVB Women's Nations League, while the Czech Republic recorded its fifth victory.
On the other hand, national team setter Elif Şahin left the game after being injured in a situation in the first set.
The Sultans of the Net had previously secured a place in the finals to be held in Poland.
