Salah named England's Footballer of the Year

Salah was named England's Footballer of the Year.

According to a statement from the PFA, 33-year-old Salah was awarded the award, beating out teammate Alexis Mac Allister, Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle United's Alexander Isak, Chelsea's Cole Palmer and Arsenal's Declan Rice.

Salah, who played a key role in Liverpool's title win last season, became the first player to win the award three times.

Aston Villa's 23-year-old midfielder Morgan Rogers was named the Young Player of the Year.
