Renato Sanches' new address is Panathinaikos

Panathinaikos , competing against the Süper Lig team Samsunspor in the UEFA Europa League play-off stage, continues its transfer efforts.

The Greek representative announced that he has signed 28-year-old midfielder Renato Sanches, who last played for French Ligue 1 team Paris Saint-Germain, on loan.

Sanches, who started his football career in the Benfica youth academy, also played for teams such as Bayern Munich, Lille and Roma.

Renato Sanches' name was also mentioned with Super League teams throughout the transfer window.

The Portuguese midfielder, who played in 296 matches throughout his career, contributed 19 goals and 20 assists.
