Trabzonspor football player Paul Onuachu was diagnosed with edema in his left ankle bones and partial injury to his ankle ligaments.

The club's head of medical board, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Beşir, stated in a statement that Paul Onuachu was injured and left the field in the friendly match against Araz Nakhchivan.

Beşir, providing information about the football player's examination and MRI, said, "Intense edema due to the impact on the bones of the left ankle and partial injury to the ankle ligaments were detected. Our medical team has begun treatment for our player."
