Osimhen was the hero of the 4-0 victory, thus earning Nigeria a place in the 2026 World Cup playoffs. The Nigerian striker's performance is the biggest disappointment for the English, who are struggling to keep up with such a prominent star in the Premier League. Liverpool opted for Alexander Isak over Osimhen in the summer transfer window.
