Feyza Civelek's 'bridge' threat caused trouble! Up to 5 years in prison sought

Actress Feyza Civelek, who plays the character of Nilay in the TV series Kızılcık Şerbeti, was sued after using threatening posts on social media against her ex-boyfriend's friend.
Civelek's former partner, Alican Kurt, shared a post about his relationship with Civelek on social media after a year of dating. Kurt's friend, Mert Wang, responded to the shared story with the caption, "Don't be ridiculous." Famous actress Feyza Civelek, enraged by the comment, allegedly lashed out at Wang, insulting him, and threatening him.
According to a report by Patrons' World, Civelek commented on Wang's post, saying, "You've never seen me in your life, how do you think you have the right to interfere in my relationship? I'm one of Türkiye's most well-known actors, you're funny, I guess you thought I was a ghetto chick like you. Is Alican going to act on someone's comment like you? I took your number and I'll measure your height. If I hear you talking about me again, I'll hang you from the bridge, everyone will spit in your face, you vile man, go away."
He was asked for a sentence of up to 5 years in prison.
According to Sabah newspaper, following an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Criminal Court of First Instance, the prosecutor's office requested a prison sentence of up to five years for Civelek on charges of "threats and insults." Civelek will appear in court in the coming months.
