EuroBasket 2025: Turkish National Basketball Team in the quarterfinals

The Turkish National Men's Basketball Team defeated Sweden and advanced to the quarterfinals of the EuroBasket 2025 .
The National Team won all of its group matches in the tournament, making it 5 out of 5, and faced Sweden in the last 16 round.
The match, which was also the first match of the last 16 round, started at 12:00 Turkish time.
Unable to start the match as desired, the National Team finished the first half trailing 42-37.
Türkiye recovered in the third quarter, trailing 44-37, but went on an 11-0 run to take the lead and continue to increase the lead.
In the final quarter, the National Team lost its 8-point advantage and entered the final 5 minutes ahead 72-71.
Türkiye played better in the last part of the match and won the match 85-79 and advanced to the quarterfinals.
Türkiye's quarterfinal opponent will be the winner of the Bosnia-Herzegovina-Poland match. This match will be played tomorrow at 12:00 Turkish time.
