RISK OF VITAMIN C AND FIBER DEFICIENCY

According to experts, a diet based solely on animal products increases the risk of developing various diseases, especially scurvy and certain types of cancer, due to the lack of vitamin C and fiber. According to a study conducted by Harvard University spanning 40 years and covering more than 200,000 people, it was revealed that individuals who consume the most red meat have a 62 percent greater health risk compared to those who consume the least. Another study conducted by Oxford University shows that consuming just 50 grams of extra red meat per day increases the risk of heart disease by 18 percent. The high saturated fat content of the diet can increase cholesterol levels, narrow arteries and cause plaque to form on the vascular walls, increasing the risk of heart attack and stroke. “True health is measured not by muscle strength, but by vascular health,” warns Dr. Yaranov. “If your diet damages the inner lining of the vascular wall (endothelium), it doesn’t matter how strong you are.”
