Beşiktaş announces Orkun Kökçü transfer! Here's the cost

The black-and-white club informed the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that an agreement had been reached with the player and the club regarding the temporary transfer of Orkun Kökçü with an option to purchase.

The statement made by the club is as follows:

An agreement has been reached with the club regarding the transfer of professional football player Orkun Kökçü. No loan fee will be paid to Sport Lisboa E Benfica-Futebol SAD for the 2025-2026 season.

In addition, if the conditions in the contract are met, the permanent transfer provision of the player will come into effect and the transfer fee of 25,000,000 Euros will be paid to Sport Lisboa E Benfica-Futebol SAD in installments until 2030, starting from the 2026-2027 season.

According to the agreement, the football player will be paid a guaranteed fee of €5,000,000 in the 2025/2026 football season, a guaranteed fee of €5,000,000 in the 2026/2027 football season, a guaranteed fee of €5,000,000 in the 2027/2028 football season, a guaranteed fee of €5,000,000 in the 2028/2029 football season, and a guaranteed fee of €5,000,000 in the 2029/2030 football season based on the Turkish Lira equivalent calculated based on the Euro (EUR)/Turkish Lira (TRY) exchange rate announced in the exchange rate table of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT).
