Akit has started making fun of us! 'Togg is cheaper than rent'

The Yeni Akit newspaper, known for its close ties to the AKP government, drew attention with its news article titled "A big September surprise from Türkiye's automobile! A cheaper installment than rent from Togg!"

The report stated, "Togg continues to provide financial support to its users with loan options ranging from 400,000 TL to 1,500,000 TL and installment options starting from 33,334 TL, specifically for the T10X V2 model in September."

Yet the 33,334 Turkish Lira mentioned barely represents the cheapest rent in Türkiye's metropolitan cities, where the economy is spiraling downward due to the AKP government's flawed economic policies. This price, presented as a "surprise," is above the minimum wage and the lowest pension.

Current minimum wage in Türkiye: 22,104 TL,

The lowest retirement pension is 14,469 TL
