12 Giant Men in the semi-finals! We made history again after 24 years

The National Men's Basketball Team advanced to the semi-finals of the 2025 European Basketball Championship ( EuroBasket 2025) by defeating Poland with a score of 91-77 in the quarter-final match.

1st Period Result: Türkiye 19 - Poland 19

Poland scored in the first quarter with 3-pointers from the corners, while the Turkish National Team was effective under the basket with organized offense. The first quarter of the game, a close contest, ended tied 19-19.

2ND PERIOD RESULT: Türkiye 46 - 32 POLAND

Turkey started the second quarter strongly, extending the lead to double digits in the 17th minute with scoring contributions from five players, 36-26. The Crescent-Stars widened their lead the rest of the way and took a 46-32 lead into the locker room. Alperen Şengün, who couldn't find a single shot in the first quarter, scored 10 points in the second.

3RD PERIOD RESULT: Türkiye 65 - 50 POLAND

The Turkish National Team continued to pace itself in the third period, extending its lead to 21 points in the 27th minute with baskets from outside shots: 61-40. Recovering slightly in the remaining period, Poland cut the deficit to 15, and the Turkish National Team entered the final period ahead 65-50.
