Tough measures for the new generation console! Anyone who violates the rules will have their console locked

According to a provision added to the software of the new console, which will be released next month, the device could be rendered "fully or partially" inoperable if users install unauthorized software, modify hardware to speed up the device, or try to access pirated games or emulators.

Nintendo's new terms of service clearly state:

“You acknowledge that if you fail to comply with the foregoing restrictions, Nintendo may render the Nintendo Account Services and/or the applicable Nintendo device permanently non-functional in whole or in part.”

This may be Nintendo's first foray into individual piracy directly, with the company typically suing or sending DMCA notices to sites and companies that provide pirated software.

The new console features a larger 20-inch screen, new buttons, mouse mode, and camera. The controllers also have a different design than the previous model. The Nintendo Switch 2 will be available on June 5, and some new games will be released with it.

The console's price is considerably higher than the previous model. The game-free version is set at 36,999 TL in Türkiye ($450 in the US), while the game-packed version is set at 39,999 TL ($500).
