The doors of the burning electric vehicle were locked and the company's shares crashed!

Xiaomi shares on the Hong Kong stock exchange plummeted after images of an SU7 sedan catching fire in Chengdu circulated on social media. The shares fell as much as 8.7 percent on Monday, their sharpest decline since April, before some of the losses were recouped as videos circulated.
DOORS DID NOT OPENFootage circulating of the incident and eyewitness accounts show passersby attempting to open the doors of the burning vehicle, but to no avail. Local crews brought the fire under control with a fire extinguisher. Chengdu police reported that the accident was the result of a collision between an SU7 sedan and another vehicle, killing a 31-year-old man suspected of drunk driving.
This development has revived questions raised by the fatal accident involving the SU7 earlier this year. That accident sparked discussions about the vehicle's intelligent driving features and safety performance, leading to a decline in Xiaomi's stock.
