Second 'technical failure' from a fighter jet in a month: Ammunition fell inside the country!

The Israeli army announced that a warplane dropped its ammunition in the north of the country due to a technical malfunction, the second such incident recorded in the past month.

The Israeli army announced that a warplane dropped its ammunition in the north of the country due to a technical malfunction.

According to a statement made on social media by army spokesman Avichay Adraee, the fighter jet attempted to unload ammunition in a controlled manner in order to ensure a safe landing, but due to a technical malfunction, the bomb fell in a region in northern Israel.

Adraee stated that an investigation has been launched regarding the incident.

This incident is the second such incident to be experienced by the Israeli air force in the past month. Previously, on April 15, another warplane on duty near the Gaza Strip dropped a bomb on an off-target point due to a technical malfunction, and the ammunition fell on an empty field near the Israeli settlement of Nir Yitzhak. There were no casualties in either incident.
