Old batteries are history: iPhone 17 comes with a new generation battery

Japanese technology giant TDK, which has long supplied parts to Apple, has developed advanced compact batteries that can store more energy than traditional lithium-ion batteries. These new batteries, which are expected to start production at the end of June, are now almost certain to be used in the iPhone 17 Air model.
