Fire Panic at Ataturk Airport

A fire broke out in a grassy area near the General Aviation Terminal at Atatürk Airport in Istanbul this evening. As the flames spread rapidly, the State Airports Authority (DHMİ) fire department, along with numerous firefighters from surrounding districts, was dispatched to the scene.

Thanks to the rapid response of the fire crews, the fire was brought under control before it could spread. There were no casualties or injuries, and extensive cooling efforts were carried out in the area where the fire broke out.
