Bahçeli: Everyone is playing their dirty role, Turkish nation is always the target

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli made a written statement regarding the ongoing conflicts between Iran and Israel. Bahçeli, who reacted to Israel's attack on Iran's nuclear facilities, evaluated the US bombing of Iran as a "scandalous and irresponsible attack." Bahçeli, who said, "Everyone is playing their dirty role," said regarding the process they named Terror-Free Turkey, "Whoever is jealous of this, who cannot stand this, who cannot stand this, are acting as extras in the Zionist-Imperialist scenario." Bahçeli said, "It should not be forgotten that the Turkish nation is always a target" and "All calculations are being made against us. The struggle for the crescent and the cross continues." Bahçeli's full statement is as follows: "On the one hand, the vast geography we live on, on the other hand, the global balance and established order are being rapidly dragged towards a vortex of terror, and exaggerated risks and threats are obscuring the common future of humanity. Developments with a high tone of seriousness are continuously and rapidly progressing towards a critical stage that is regrettable and worrying in every aspect. Essentially, the regional peace and stability environment, which has been hanging by a thread for years and whose fragility is indisputable, is on the verge of complete plunder and destruction. The binding, credibility and persuasive capacity of peaceful dialogue and diplomatic mechanisms, which everyone talks about but are increasingly imprisoned in darkness, are being seriously weakened. Unfortunately, the webs of a new world war, the third of which is being mentioned, are being woven step by step, and its denouncements and manifestations are being made. The distorted and cruel political, strategic and economic-political anarchy, where the understanding of 'the powerful is for the capable' is prominent, 'the right is the weak, the powerful are the wrong', is preventing the international system from solving problems. It is seen that it has completely dulled its quality. The Zionist-Imperialist fervor, claim and expression of it is frequently voiced, is in the form of a conventional plot to drive the "Rules-Based" global system into the tunnel of destruction, and even to destroy it with a chain reaction of multi-vector crises.

"THE SITUATION IS VERY SERIOUS"

The wave of illegitimate attacks launched by Israel against Iran on June 13, 2025 has the nature of triggering dynamics of chaos and confusion that bring every possibility of savagery to mind. The situation is very serious and the necessity of reading and interpreting the target countries catalog correctly and taking a position in accordance with it is a matter of independence and survival. All the complications of a war that has not been declared by mutual means are in circulation. While the war between Russia and Ukraine, which has been going on for more than three years in our north, has not yet ended, the brutal harassment of Israel, which is now completing the dirty work of the West in our south, cannot be explained and encompassed only by the dispute regarding the nuclear program on the agenda. The one-sided, subjective, unjust, shameless and unlawful aggression of the oppressor coalition, which puts forward similar empty excuses against Iraq, has no basis. The fact that the US President, who promised to end wars, ignites the fuse of new wars is of course a deep contradiction and political inconsistency, as well as falsehood and insincerity.

It is the American people who will provide the most fair and equitable treatment to this unreliable, unfounded and flawed political stance.

The Israeli Prime Minister's statement that they launched an attack in order to end "Iran's nuclear appetite" is nothing more than the mental eclipse of this era's genocidal leader and his cunningness to produce justifications to defend the wrong while floundering in contradiction.

Supporting Israel's attempt to deter and punish another country in this context without ever discussing Israel's right to access and acquire nuclear weapons, and moreover without facing any criticism, is a mistake that has no basis in reason, justice and logic.

For those who see Iran or another regional country as a problem to protect Israel, which has been branded as the mortal enemy of the oppressed, is an unjust, unequal and immoral act that violates the principles of sovereignty and cannot be expressed with double standards alone.

In this center, the US administration is an architecture of tyranny and oppression that pats the scourge on the back, becomes a plaything of vested interests, silently watches the genocide, points weapons at Islamic societies at every opportunity, and crushes the global conscience like a steamroller.

The protective axis of Israel's policy of instilling fear in its surroundings by using force and violence is clear; indeed, the vandalism that grows with the bloodshed and murders committed endangers world peace in every way.

"THE ATTACK BY THE US IS SCANDALOUS AND IRRESPONSIBLE"

The bombing yesterday by the USA of three nuclear facilities that were said to have been identified as targets in the actual war between Iran and Israel is a scandalous and irresponsible attack.

In the face of these developments, the convening of the United Nations Security Council and the UN Secretary-General's declaration that he is concerned about the US's use of force against Iran are sheer deception.

Everyone is playing their dirty role. The knot of the war belt has been untied, the ribbon has been cut, the stage has been set.

The United Nations is not an authority for whining, coyness, reproach and complaints; it is an international organization that has the legal right to conduct humanitarian intervention to build peace, if necessary.

While the air raids, flying missiles, bombs used for the first time, warships equipped with advanced weapons, the intensity of dizzying covert operations, the prevalence of psychological and cyber warfare, the striking of determined target targets in stages, the political and economic polarization exceeding the limits of tolerance are the summary of the world's devastation and exhaustion for ten days, the United Nations is paralyzed. While babies, children, women, in short tens of thousands of innocents are being massacred in Gaza, those who remain silent, those whose breaths are not even heard, are expected to raise the flag of bankruptcy within the framework of human rights, freedoms and democratic virtues, and this is the record of an humiliation that is not surprising.

The US attack on Iran, Israel's relentless brutal moves, Iran's threat of retaliation and finally the decision to close the Strait of Hormuz will ignite the fuse of hot and grave developments that are not easy to predict.

It is in the interest of every country that common sense prevails, disagreements are addressed at diplomatic tables, and peaceful efforts are embraced.

The use of nuclear weapons and the outbreak of a new world war will serve the mass murder and destruction of humanity.

Israel must be stopped, and the international community must rise to this end.

The objectionable and painful targets regarding the regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially the destruction of historical Turkish cities with bombs, are a strongly sealed message to other countries in the region.

You don't need to be a prophet to predict which country will be on the agenda after Iraq, Syria and Iran.

CALL TO CHP

It should be known that the existence, unity, sovereignty and historical acquis of the Republic of Türkiye are above all considerations and opinions.

It is an inevitable need for our national security and our home front that the Republican People's Party and other opposition parties pursue policies that are free from bombast, free from lies and distortion, and separate from slander and unfounded accusations.

It is my advice and wish that some so-called journalists, half-intellectuals and bile-stricken experts, who violate the boundaries of freedom of expression and thought and who plant the hatred that has taken root in their souls like a bomb in their words and assessments at every opportunity, do not forget that Türkiye is a state governed by the rule of law.

No one is untouchable.

Those who refer to today with historical examples and who are party to unacceptable talks full of threats need to understand that Türkiye is not a street keeper.

"THE TURKISH NATION IS ALWAYS A TARGET"

While we are surrounded by fire, it is clear that good intentions cannot be expected from those who drag Turkey into bottomless and nerve-wracking debates.

There is no other Türkiye.

This country belongs to all of us.

Everyone who says “This flag is mine, this homeland is mine, this nation is my honor” is our true brother, it is certain that we will join hands in the new century and write the manifesto of the Turkish Century.

From now on, utmost attention must be paid to possible provocations.

We must be careful against black propaganda.

The state is one with its nation, and threats to our national existence will be resisted with the thousand-year-old law of brotherhood and solidarity.

It should not be forgotten that the Turkish nation is always a target.

The Turkish nation is the playmaker, historical prestige, peace lover, peacekeeper, strategic force, political center of gravity, main pillar and the beating heart of the future of the geography we live in.

All calculations are made on us.

The struggle between the crescent and the cross continues.

The Historical Eastern Question is on the agenda.

With the independence and survival of the Republic of Türkiye, with the unity and prosperity of the Great Turkish Nation,

It is not for nothing that those who have problems with the peace and tranquility of our region, and more broadly of the world, are bothering with Turkey and choosing Türkiye as a target.

We will resist all of these until the end.

We will never compromise on Türkiye and the Turkish nation."
