Another DEM Party message from Erdoğan: We are determined to continue the process

AKP President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at his party's 32nd Consultation and Evaluation Meeting in Kızılcahamam. Emphasizing the DEM Party once again in his speech, Erdoğan said, "This new era places significant responsibilities not only on the AK Party, the Nationalist Movement Party, or the DEM Party, but on all political parties. We believe it is important for party leaders to be involved in the process. As three parties, we are determined to see this process through to its conclusion."

Erdogan said the following:

" The progress made towards a terror-free Turkey was, of course, our most important topic. Our colleagues also provided information on other important topics. We also met with our participating colleagues. I thank each and every one of our colleagues who contributed to our meeting with their presentations and questions. Hopefully, the shared wisdom that emerged here will shed light on the development and implementation of our policies."

We are pleased that yesterday's sincere, comprehensive, and in-depth assessments were received positively both within our own community and by the public. Our blessed journey has reached a new milestone. The doors of a new era are opening for our country. We are putting our century-long ideal of Turkey into practice, step by step. We are reaching the threshold of liberating ourselves from the shackles of terrorism. Our half-century of patience is being salvaged. Friday's ceremony was meaningful in this regard. We carefully followed the arms delivery process on the ground. Our parliamentary speaker is already overseeing the formation of the parliamentary committee. We hope to receive positive news from there soon. No one has the right to disrupt the process, sabotage it, or engage in petty squabbles. There is compensation for everything in life and politics, but there is no compensation for compromising on such a vital issue that will affect the peace of 86 million people. My nation will not forgive this. We are going through days when politicians must fulfill their duties to the nation.

When it comes to the future of the Turkish nation, we will talk to everyone. We are open to criticism and critique, as long as it is for the good of this nation. We welcome the positive and negative opinions of anyone who doesn't make this issue an appetizer for ideological conflicts and completely different agendas. Because we don't engage in personal politics or the politics of personal gain. We don't engage in petty politics; we engage in national politics. We engage in Turkish politics, the politics of civilization. We conduct this with the interests of our nation, especially the families of martyrs and our veterans, in mind. We also understand those who view the process with skepticism and strive to alleviate their hesitations. This new era places significant responsibilities not only on the AK Party, the Nationalist Movement Party, or the Democratic Party (DEM) Party, but on all political parties. We consider it important for party leaders to be involved in the process. As three parties, we are determined to carry this process to its conclusion in a safe manner. Only in this way can we carry our country to its rightful place in this period of restructuring of the world and our region, and only in this way can we establish a great and powerful Türkiye.
