"Perversion" issue in Sora 2: Content produced with the journalist's face sparked controversy

OpenAI's recently launched video- making app, Sora 2, allows users to create short videos using artificial intelligence . However, the app's "cameo" feature allows users to insert other people's faces into videos. This has led some users to create fetish videos using real people's faces.
"I DID NOT APPROVE THIS"Journalist Katie Notopoulos, who uses the app, revealed that shortly after making her own face public, she saw numerous videos featuring her face as a pregnant, giant or bloated character.
Business Insider writer Notopoulos noted that many of these videos clearly fell into the fetish genre, saying, "This content bothered me because these are videos potentially produced for sexual gratification, and I did not consent to it." Notopoulos noted that the user accounts in question consisted solely of fetish-themed videos, adding, "It's disturbing that my own face is being used in this way. If even I feel this way, an average user would be much more disturbed by it."
"NO WONDER THAT THERE ARE NO FEW WOMEN""This type of content has always existed on the internet, but this is the first time it's been produced so easily, with real people's faces. It's no wonder women are so scarce on this platform," Notopoulos said.
The Sora app doesn't allow the use of living celebrity faces; however, videos featuring deceased celebrities are allowed. This recently sparked public outrage over similar use of Martin Luther King Jr., prompting OpenAI to shut down related videos. Meanwhile, younger users have also been found to be creating videos with adult content creators. This has revived OpenAI's parental control and age-restriction policies.
